My Story
After graduating from OWU I attended Duke University Law School 1973-76. I worked as an attorney in Washington, D.C. 1976-78, including as legal assistant to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission; I married Donna Renee French (Miami of Ohio 1975; UNC Chapel Hill MBA 1977) in 1979; moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1978 to work as private practice attorney. I have specialized in labor and employment law representing employers from 1978 to the present; I have enjoyed being active as a volunteer and board member of the YMCA, American Heart Association, Canyon Lake Sailing Foundation and Lake Canyon Yacht Club; assisted with the complete renovation of the OWU Phi Delta Theta chapter house (reopened Spring 2022); active as sailor around USA and offshore; Renee and I spend extended summers on Chesapeake Bay and in second home in Annapolis, Maryland. I'm looking forward to retirement from my legal career in 2023.
