Brent M. Adler of Franklin, MA passed away peacefully after a battling a long illness on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the age of 68. He was the beloved husband to Wendy (Virshup) Adler and loving father of Wylie (Brett) Figliozzi, and Samuel Adler. He was the cherished grandfather to Blake, Logan, and Cole Figliozzi and loving brother to Elisa (Greg) Hames.
Brent will be remembered for his generous nature, strength and resiliency, dedication to his family and work, love of food, and witty dry sense of humor. When he wasn’t helping family or friends solve a problem, finding an elusive item on Amazon, planning the perfect restaurant outing, or cracking a subtle joke, Brent could be found playing with his grandchildren, precisely engineering a home or appliance repair, tinkering with the latest technology, spoiling his dogs with treats and scratches, manicuring the yard, feeding the birds, or scrutinizing future family adventures. Brent’s passion for his career went beyond the pursuit of perfection; bonding strong relationships with colleagues, he was considered a great mentor and friend among many of them.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Brigham & Women’s
Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Milford Regional Medical Center for their care of Brent.
Private graveside services to be held at Sharon Memorial Park. Expressions of Sympathy in Brent’s memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168, www.dana-farber.org. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/canton-ma/brent-adler-9350400
