Bernie R. Lann, 47, died June 7, 1999, at Akron General Medical Center.

At his request, his body was donated to medical research. A memorial service will be held Thursay, 12 noon, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St., with Pastor John Jenkins officiating. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
