Jeffrey T. Dunbar

Jeffrey T. Dunbar, 63, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center after a long illness with lymphoma. Born in Wauseon, Ohio, he proudly served six years in the U.S. Air Force where he met his wife, Jean. Jeffrey worked in the Aviation industry for over 30 years, most recently as Executive Director of Holstein Aviation. He really enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Audree, flying, golf, skydiving, horseback riding, and playing frisbee with the family dog, Belle. 

Surviving are his wife, Jean; sons, Justin (Erica) Dunbar of Fort Wayne, IN and Andrew Dunbar of New York, NY; granddaughter, Audree Dunbar of Fort Wayne; brothers, Lee (Carol) Dunbar of Bradenton, FL, David (Laura) Dunbar of Toledo, OH, Stephen (Karen) Dunbar of Toledo, OH; sister, Victoria (Maxwell) Baney of Findley, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Victoria Dunbar; granddaughter, Anne Brynlee Dunbar, and brother, Harlton Dunbar. 

Calling hours will be Friday, September 26, 2014, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. The funeral Service is Saturday, September 27, at 11 a.m. at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 W. Wayne Street, with one hour calling prior, Rev. Dr. Kathleen Haller officiating. Memorials may be made to the Down Syndrome Association of NE Indiana or the Cleveland Clinic Department of Hematology/Oncology.
