Mrs. Janice E. Bayer, 33, of 77 Rounds St., New Bedford, Mass., died Thursday in her home. She was the wife of Timothy C. Bayer.

Born in Quincy, Mass., she was a daughter of Robert S. and Elizabeth (Lewis) Sprague of Easton.

She was a 1974 graduate of Temple University and was enrolled in a nursing program at Southeastern Massachusetts University at the time of her death.

Surviving with her husband and parents are a daughter, Maureen S., and a son, Colin C., both at home; three brothers, Robert S. Jr. of Ducksbury, Mass., Dr. Thomas of San Francisco and Richard in Pennsylvania, and a sister, Meredith Ann of Easton.

A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Fritz Memorial United Methodist Church, Bethlehem. The Wilson Funeral Home, 479 County St., New Bedford, is in charge of arrangements.
